The extension to the 13th Basic woodworking class at the Maker's Asylum is over. This batch was a doozy, these guys made me figure out why shesham is called indian rosewood and is fairly cheap where as rosewood is known to be so expensive Groups like this teach me a lot too.
But I think the most gratifying feeling was that everyday, I could see many of them having to tear themselves away from the group and go home. The group didn't just learn woodworking, they also made a whole load of new friends.
Now we have a dinner at Mohammed Ali road lined up, we have a party to attend on the 8th and we have a power tool workshop on the 9th.
This batch was effing AWESOME.
